Program Engineering Introduction

Like many, we believe that program/project management and systems engineering practices can and should be applied to most business projects.  We also believe these practices can make a difference in volunteer, social or personal activities -- some of a project nature and others as well.

In addition, we think the "big ticket" items for program engineering are remarkably similar to those for all projects.

In lieu of discussing practices in detail and then suggesting they be tailored down for program engineering.  We suggest focusing on a few important items and then adding more process as it is needed.

This part of the program engineering Mini BOK series is intended to explain how the PM and SE Mini BOKs and other suggested practices fit together and the basis for our vision.
